Our senior plumber, Mark Davies got his hands dirty recently when called out to a rented apartment to what was reported as a minor leak with a smell of burning! On arrival he found a twelve year old Saniflo electric macerator unit that had never been serviced and whose pump was struggling to cope with the job for which it was intended! The landlord was duly informed of the problem, in some graphic detail, and hastily agreed to its replacement.

Our roofing maintenance contracts have all been completed for the October inspection and one or two slates and flashings have had to be replaced/refixed and some leadwork welded or replaced where splits have appeared during the warmer months.

All of which reinforcing the benefit of such preventative measures as part of a planned maintenance contract!
